Get In On The Action!

Would you like to be part of a ministry that makes a real difference in others' lives when they need it most ~ and in your own? Priests will always be on the front lines of care, especially during times of crisis. But there are always many more needs for ongoing, one-to-one care than priests can effectively meet by themselves. Consider being a Stephen Minister!

Our Stephen Ministry Coordinator is The Rev. Amy Morehous. If you would like more information, please call Amy at 588-0589

The Brotherhood of St. Andrews This is an international organization for Episcopal men, has an active chapter at the Church of the Ascension. The mission of The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is prayer, service and study.

WEEKLY MEETINGS are held each Thursday at 7:00 AM in the Old Transept. There is a meal & social get-togther at Church of the Ascension on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. beginning on April 19, 2007.

Also, there is an annual weekend retreat each Spring. The retreat has been held at the Lake Logan Episcopal Center near Canton, North Carolina the past three years. All meetings, social events and the retreat are open to all men of the parish.
