The Daily Offices are offered in the chapel, or “old transept” of the sanctuary, every morning and evening during the week. These short services include scripture readings, prayers for members of the community, and offer a time for contemplation during a busy week. Tuesday Morning Men’s Bible Study
The Tuesday Morning Men’s Bible Study is open to men of the parish who wish to gather to study seasonally changing books and topics. This group faithfully meets every Tuesday morning at 7:00 am in the Parlor.
Other Brothers: Guinnessis
Guinnessis is a fellowship and education group open to men of the parish and those affiliated with the “Other Brothers.” This group meets during August-May at 4:30 pm on Tuesdays at Pero’s on Northshore Drive. Expect fun, fellowship, and a good time with this great group of guys.
Wednesday Morning Lectionary Study
Meeting on Wednesdays at 10:45 am in the Library, this avid group meets weekly to discuss scripture from the coming Sunday’s lectionary selections. Members of the clergy rotate to teach the class, offering the group a chance to interact with our priests on a regular basis, and to hear from them their different thoughts on the scripture they will preach on for the coming Sunday.
Brotherhood of Saint Andrew
Meeting at 7:00 am on Thursday mornings in the Old Transept of the Parish Hall, The Brotherhood of St. Andrew has a frequent rotation of guest speakers, engaging study topics, and fellowship in addition to ministry and special projects. Other Brothers: Lectionary Lunch
The Other Brothers meet regularly at varying locations (typically Yassin’s Falafel House) to support a local favorite restaurant and to study the lectionary readings for the coming Sunday.
EfM: Education for Ministry
Education for Ministry (EfM) is a non-credit extension program of the University of the South School of Theology. Continuing Education Unit credits are available. EfM is a four year program covering the Old Testament in the first year, the New Testament in the second year, Church History in the third year, and Theology in the fourth year.
