Not sure what you believe, or have a desire to go deeper?  The Alpha Course is Ascension's primary way of sharing the gospel with those who have questions about the Christian faith, those who are not believers, and those who are seeking a deeper faith in God. The course is offered over 10 evening meetings, after a Celebration Supper, and includes a weekend away at an area retreat center. Each evening begins with a casual delicious dinner, followed by singing, a talk given by Fr. Rob Travis or other clergy, and small group meetings to consider questions from the talk or other faith issues. People who participate in Alpha typically say that they deepened their faith through this course. Topics for the course include basic questions of faith such as: Who is Jesus?, Why did he die?, and Why and how should I read the Bible?
