New to the Episcopal church?  Church of the Ascension regularly offers a combined Inquirers' and Confirmation class for those who wish to learn more about the Episcopal Church and/or desire to be confirmed, received, or renew their baptismal vows during the Bishop's Annual Visit.  This class is open to all who are interested in exploring and learning more about the richness of our Anglican tradition and is a great way to become more acquainted with the Episcopal church in general.  Our Spring Inquirers' Class begins on Wednesday, April 18 at 6:30pm in Room 101 and continues until May 30.  For more information, please contact Cathy Wadley in the church office, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Looking for Youth confirmation class?  Ascension also offers a yearly confirmation class geared towards the youth of our congregation who are interested in making a personal and mature commitment to Christ and the Church.  Youth confirmation classes are offered to High School aged youth and use a curriculum that pulls from various Episcopal resources.  To add an experiential level to our curriculum, Ascension's youth confirmands are also strongly encouraged to participate in Ascension's annual mission trip.  For more information on youth confirmation classes, please contact Fr.
