Purpose of Ministry: The flower guild is responsible for arranging the flowers for each Sunday service, weddings, holidays, funerals and any other special occasion at the church.
Number of Hours Expected to Be Needed Each Month: This will vary from month to month. Some months there could be no hours; during Easter, Christmas and spring/summer weddings there could be several hours per month.
Meeting Requirements: 2 members meet each Saturday to arrange flowers for the Sunday service. There is a meeting every 2 months for 30 minutes to 1 hour to schedule for upcoming events.
Where are Ministry Services Provided: Church
Special Mention: This is an ideal ministry for a creative or artistic person who enjoys arranging fresh flowers or would like to learn to arrange flowers. It is also perfect for someone who would like to volunteer but cannot commit to several hours every month.
