Purpose of Ministry: The Other Brothers provide a regular time of fellowship, study and service for younger men (roughly 20's-40's) within and outside the Church of the Ascension. We are a relatively new group that is still forming its purpose and values, while consistently meeting for fellowship.

Number of Hours Each Month: depends on the desire of the member, up to 4, plus service opportunities.

When Ministry Meets: every other Wednesday at 8 pm at select members' homes and local establishments. Joins with Brotherhood of St. Andrew for occasional social events. Service opportunities as determined by the group.

Where are Ministry Services Provided: The Other Brothers have determined that their main service outreach will be to youth, but we have also taken on other projects such as the Bolivian Mission Trip, and a meal at the Volunteer Ministry Center.

Explanation: This ministry is a great way to introduce Ascension life to young men who are not otherwise involved regularly at Church of the Ascension. Through Fellowship, Study and Service we hope to bring younger men to a more joy-filled life of faith in Jesus. Great for newcomers and recent members and friends!
