Sermon by The Rev. Chelsea Krahulik
January 3, 2016
“How do we orient ourselves to these ways that can be so different from our natural ideas and inclinations? We have to take the time to sit in God’s presence, listen for God’s voice, meditate on God’s word to us in Scripture, and respond to God in prayer. When we spend time in meditation and prayer, we train ourselves in what is most true—We remind ourselves of God’s love and wisdom. When we sit with the stories in our Scriptures, we see God’s faithfulness and the myriad of ways God has worked over time.” From The Rev. Chelsea Krahulik’s sermon on January 3, 2016.
