Sermon by The Rev. Robert K. Gieselmann

February 14, 2016

“Why do we create such intense lives for ourselves and for our children? Closer to the earth… ’Tis a gift to be simple, ’tis a gift to be free, ’tis the gift to come down where we ought to be… Simplicity…And I think you might just find God emerging through a simpler life, living closer to earth.  And so, I wonder, this Lent, how you might do that. How you might simplify rather than give up chocolate maybe you’ll consider the earth, and that heart beat of God.”  From the sermon by The Rev. Robert K. Gieselmann on Sunday February 14th, 2016
