Safeguarding God’s Children Training Available Training will take place at Ascension on Sunday, May 1, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. in Room 209. There is room for more attendees. High School Youth (grades 9-12), come out to the church this evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. There will be dinner, a Bible discussion, and games.

FOMA Presents: Mark Hughes This afternoon at 5 pm, FOMA presents a program (presented free of charge) entitled “The Instrument of Kings Meets the King of Instruments.” Guest artist Mark Hughes, principal trumpet with the Houston Symphony, will present works of Tartini, Charpentier, Arban, Copland, and others. Mr. Hughes’ parents-in-law, John and Ann Nelson, cordially invite all to a reception after the concert in the parish hall.
Missing tablecloths on the loose! The church is missing twenty tablecloths. These are the white tablecloths used at receptions and dinners. If you know where these may be, or if you have taken them to be cleaned, please let Linda Hawley know at email@example.com
Benefit Concert at Ascension A benefit concert featuring Natalie Beeler Elkins will take place on Sunday, May 1, at 3:00 pm in the Nave to offset the medical expenses for Lucinda Jobe’s granddaughter, Jaymie Lamb, a sixteen year old Lenoir City High School student suffering from thyroid cancer.
