We opened with the Bonhoeffer reading and Allan led us in a prayer.
Danny thanked all the men for their help in seasoning, smoking, wrapping, and selling the tenderloin. It was truly a group effort.
Allan thanked Danny for all he did to make this happen. We made about $1,300.00.
Bill Wood announced a fund raiser for the Tennessee Voices for Children on Thursday, May 23 at 7:00 PM at Chivo Taqueria, 314 S. Gay Street. There will be a tequila tasting and seated dinner.
Greg reminded us about the presentation by Mike Anderews at First Presbyterian Church tonight, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the Justice Knox information meeting after the 10:30 service this Sunday, and The Nehemiah Meeting on Monday, May 6 at Central UMC, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Aron annouced the Acolyte Festival on May 18, 10 AM – 4 PM. We need volunteers to cook hamburgers and hotdogs for the 50 to 100 people who will be attending the festival.
John Robertson sold the tenderloins that were left over for $10.00 each.
