Engaging your Kids…Children’s Sunday School at Ascension

Pre-K–Age 2/3, Room 204: Do your children need a fun, playful environment to begin encountering Biblical stories? Head to the education wing to begin the fun!

Godly Play-Grades K-2, Room 205: Godly Play is an engaging, interactive, and tactile learning experience for children. This learning model, based on Montessori techniques, encompasses all the faculties of your child in an immersive retelling of key Biblical stories.

Connect- Grades 3-5, Room 105: Witty humor, funny animations, and interactive Biblical stories all come together in the Connect program for preteens. Drop your children off downstairs for a captivating experience.

At Ascension, we care for your children including their faith, education, health, and safety. All staff and volunteers that work with children are trained in Safeguarding God’s Children. Parents with nursery aged children are given “parent pagers” to call parents to the education wing in case of need.

If you have any questions about any of our programs, facilities, or safety concerns, please contact Megan Alden, Director of Children’s Ministries, at megan@knoxvilleascension.org or 588-0589 for more information.
