Sermon by The Rev. Christopher W. Hogin
“A People of the Light”
Sunday, December 24, 2017 – 8:00 PM
“But the season of Christmas communicates that our world is not a battle between darkness and light. Christmas is a season that shows, not only who Christ was, and is, but also who we really are: a people of light worthy of healing and salvation. God came into the world through the birth of a child. By doing so, God revealed to us our own birthright wrapped in swaddling clothes and laying in a manger. God showed us who we are, and who we can become: a people of the light.” From The Rev. Christopher W. Hogin’s sermon on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24, 2017.
