A Concert Featuring the Music
of Francis Poulenc
Sunday, May 4th at 5pm
Make plans to attend the concert on Sunday, May 4th, at 5 pm, when the combined choirs of Westminster Presbyterian and Church of the Ascension will present Francis Poulenc’s Gloria with full orchestra. Also on the program will be Poulenc’s concerto for organ, strings, and timpani, with Edie Johnson as organist. All are cordially invited!
Breathing at the labyrinth
Every first Sunday of the month at 5pm
Breathing this Sunday will be by Ascension's labyrinth.
Engaging our breath in healthy ways can not only benefit our physical health, it can also help us attune to the Holy Spirit (the breath of God) as well as better connect to our own heart, body, soul and spirit. Breathing together in community can be a delightful gift of finding ease in our lives with others who are trying to do the same.
Vacation Bible School
5pm - 7:30 pm Monday, June 9 — Friday, June 13
Guide kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!

Journey Through the Bible
Thursdays at 11:45am
All are welcome to join us as we journey through the Bible together. This offering balances a devotional and academic view of Scripture with lots of graphics and videos and a weekly handout. Recordings and PowerPoint can be viewed online here.
